The New York Times for today has a story pointing out the pitfalls waiting for those who think that immigrants cause all the problems, and that if there were no immigrants, the unemployment rate would be far lower.
This blog will begin to consider the Gospel of John over the next few weeks. This gospel is probably the most beloved and best known, because it is used at the four major celebrations of the Christian liturgical year that have to do with the risen Christ: Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and Pentecost. It is not an authoritative text for the historical Jesus. Instead it points to the Cosmic Christ.
